Activity 2 - Project update

Online preparatory workshop for Activity 2

The workshop brought all partners together to launch the development of the RISE methodology and plan the collection of good practices.

A common starting point

Partners discussed the purpose and structure of Activity 2, compared relevant experience, and agreed on how practices would be identified and documented. This created a shared understanding of the quality, accessibility, and inclusion principles that should guide the work.

Planning the handbook

The meeting also established the next steps for developing the RISE Handbook. Partners agreed on responsibilities, coordination, and a process for reviewing the material as it develops, helping ensure consistent collaboration across all three countries.

1-2 June 2026 - Helsinki, Finland

First transnational project meeting

Hosted by Valo-Valmennusyhdistys, the meeting marked the official project kick-off and created a shared foundation for the work ahead.

Day 1 - Project launch and planning

The consortium reviewed the full work plan, clarified roles, and confirmed coordination and communication procedures. Partners aligned their understanding of the project's goals, methodology, and expected results, then agreed on the roadmap for the RISE Handbook, youth-worker training, Creative Try-Outs, and dissemination.

A partnership ready to work

The first day gave partners time to connect the formal project plan with practical responsibilities. It ensured that activities would be developed as one joined-up process and that learning from each stage could guide the next.

Day 2 - Creative Meet-Up Live

The second day offered a warm, informal gathering at the LYSIS Valo Youth Center. Partners met representatives of inspiring Finnish organisations, including Kuntoutus, Art Thing Live Finland, and Rock Camp.

Learning from local practice

The organisations shared practical activities and creative approaches to participation, wellbeing, and inclusion. The exchange connected RISE with concrete experience and generated ideas for the methodology and future project activities.
